Bounded adoption

Start with one consequential area. Expand with evidence.

Make the enterprise ambition achievable through an Outcome Working Session, staged prerequisites, a bounded First Flight, a 90-day outcome decision, and evidence-led expansion.

A large operating-system idea should not require a large first commitment. For a pre-packaged use case, First Flight is a bounded production target within 30 days after agreed prerequisites are staged. The 90-day horizon is the point to assess measurable operating progress and make an evidence-led expansion decision. Custom use cases require a separately agreed plan.

01

1. Outcome Working Session

Name the outcome, expected value, owner, recurring work or decision, participants, current burden, and evidence required for a useful next step.

02

2. Stage prerequisites

Agree sources, access, definitions, environment, business rules, authority, boundaries, readiness, and responsibilities.

03

3. First Flight production target

Implement one bounded operating pattern. Pre-packaged use cases target production within 30 days after prerequisites are staged; custom scopes use an agreed plan.

04

4. Measure through 90 days

Assess operating measures, adoption, readiness, constraints, and customer capability. The 90-day horizon is an outcome and expansion decision, not a second implementation promise.

05

5. Accept, refine, or expand

Use the evidence to accept the operating pattern, refine it, pause, or select the Next Flight.

A practical next step

Choose one consequential area. Start there.

In the first conversation, we’ll compare the operating problem, the people who own it, and the evidence that would make a next step worthwhile.
