FAQ

Questions buyers should ask early.

Clear evaluation begins by separating the operating ambition, bounded starting point, current capability, prerequisites, evidence, and constraints.

Can Aevah replace our MDM or data catalog?+

Yes. Legacy replacement is a primary entry point. Aevah can be scoped to replace Customer 360, product, party, supplier, asset, location, reference-data, hierarchy, catalog, metadata, source-registry, and stewardship use cases. Exact equivalence, migration, coexistence, service expectations, timing, and decommissioning evidence are qualified against the incumbent environment.

Is an MDM replacement a 30-day project?+

Not as a universal claim. A bounded pre-packaged use case may carry a 30-day target after prerequisites are staged. A full MDM or catalog replacement is planned separately around domains, sources, consumers, controls, history, integrations, migration, cutover, recovery, and customer acceptance.

Why replace MDM with Aevah instead of buying another MDM?+

The immediate obligation is still trusted master data and governance. The strategic opportunity is to make the same governed identity, relationships, definitions, lineage, and controls reusable across AI, decisions, workflows, operating evidence, and future use cases instead of funding another isolated destination.

Do we need to begin with an enterprise-wide program?+

No. The working adoption model begins with one consequential operating area, clear ownership, explicit prerequisites, and observable acceptance evidence.

Does Aevah replace accountable human decisions?+

No. The model is designed to retain named human judgment, authorization, confirmation, escalation, and accountability for consequential work.

What should technical teams evaluate?+

Architecture boundaries, integration and business context, deployment prerequisites, identity and authorization, governance and audit, reliability and recovery, responsibilities, constraints, and acceptance evidence.

How is a demonstration different from production?+

A demonstration makes operating behavior observable in a bounded scenario. Production requires separately agreed environments, prerequisites, responsibilities, operating controls, acceptance, and support.

What evidence should we expect?+

Evidence depends on the claim: approved scoped outcomes, bounded demonstration evidence, or operating evidence such as authorization, readiness, exception, recovery, completion, and change history.

How is Aevah priced?+

Scope and investment are negotiated against the expected value of the operating outcome, use-case complexity, staged prerequisites, and Success Capacity required. Aevah does not publish a one-size-fits-all price disconnected from the value case.

What does the customer need to staff?+

Aevah works with the customer’s existing staff: the operating owner, relevant business experts and users, and the technical, data, risk, or security owners required by the scope. The model is designed to build internal capability rather than require a separate long-term consulting team.

What is the 30-day target?+

Pre-packaged use cases target implementation in 30 days after agreed data, access, ownership, and environment prerequisites are staged. Custom use cases, unstaged prerequisites, and expanded scope require a separately agreed plan. The target is not a universal delivery guarantee.

What is Success Capacity?+

A flexible pool of Aevah support hours customers can direct toward adoption, enablement, workflow refinement, operating questions, knowledge transfer, or preparation for the next use case. The applicable agreement defines the quantity and terms.

A practical next step

Choose one consequential area. Start there.

In the first conversation, we’ll compare the operating problem, the people who own it, and the evidence that would make a next step worthwhile.
